But differently from most leading nations, German universities do not charge study fees both for German and for international students, which makes studying in Germany your top choice if you seek a school or university career outside Hong Kong.

As the only institution in Hong Kong, DSLC offers you a unique "Study in Germany" Service Package in cooperation with our German partner organization, Thoss Education Service (TES). Based in Stuttgart in southwest Germany, TES specializes in helping Hong Kong students to set up their lives in Germany and to start their studies at a German highschool or university.

Our "Study in Germany" Service Package includes a series of German courses at DSLC in Mongkok, which provides you with the ideal preparation for your stay in Germany while you are still in Hong Kong. And while you are learning German, TES will make all necessary arrangements for your transition to Germany and for the start of your learning career at a German school or university. No matter whether you are planning to study and earn a degree at a German university, or simply want to spend some semesters abroad — our "Study in Germany" Service Package will help you to prepare yourself in an optimal way while you are still here in Hong Kong, and make your start in Germany smooth and successful.

OUR "STUDY IN GERMANY" SERVICE PACKAGE
In order to make your preparations for studying in Germany as easy as possible, our Service Package is divided into two Phases:

PHASE 1 includes:
  1. Four A1 courses at DSLC, allowing you to complete the A1 level in German within 36 weeks,
    or
    Four A1 Fast Track plus four A2 Fast Track courses at DSLC, allowing you to complete the A1 and A2 levels in German within 32 weeks.

  2. General Consulation Plan with TES in Germany by email, covering
    • a profile analysis, including evaluation of your educational background
    • suggestions about different study options, based on your personal background and preferences
    • a compact information package covering each of the study options, including duration of study, costs, and possible further study
    • up to 90 minutes personal consultation with TES in Germany through Skype or Whatsapp (Cantonese, English or Mandarin)
    (Please note that the General Consultation does not include specific suggestions about individual high schools, universities, or language schools, which is part of the TES Study in Germany Service Plans belonging to PHASE 2, below.)
  3. A 10% discount on any of the TES Study in Germany Service Plans in PHASE 2.

For PHASE 2, you can choose from any of three taylor-made TES Study in Germany Service Plans that best matches with your own interests and requirements:

  • PLAN A (Basic Plan) includes
    1. a list of up to 5 university choices which best suit your profile
    2. detailed information about the universities, comparison of their strength, facilities and focuses
    3. a detailed living budget of studying at these universities, including rental costs, tuition fees, social expenses, etc.

  • PLAN B (Standard Plan) includes
    1. a list of up to 5 university choices which best suit your profile
    2. detailed information about the universities, comparison of their strength, facilities and focuses
    3. a detailed living budget of studying at these universities, including rental costs, tuition fees, social expenses, etc.
    4. a detailed step-by-step preparation plan and regular reminders on deadlines during the application process
    5. assistance in up to 5 university applications
    6. preparation of all necessary documents for application purpose, including help with drafting your curriculum vitae and motivation letter
    7. detailed individual preparation and study plan
    8. assistance in visa application
    9. help with application of a Bank Account and student health insurance in Germany

  • PLAN C (Comprehensive Plan) includes
    1. a list of up to 5 university choices which best suit your profile
    2. detailed information about the universities, comparison of their strength, facilities and focuses
    3. a detailed living budget of studying at these universities, including rental costs, tuition fees, social expenses, etc.
    4. a detailed step-by-step preparation plan and regular reminders on deadlines during the application process
    5. assistance in up to 5 university applications
    6. preparation of all necessary documents for application purpose, including help with drafting your curriculum vitae and motivation letter
    7. detailed individual preparation and study plan
    8. assistance in visa application
    9. help with application of a Bank Account and student health insurance in Germany
    10. transportation plan from German airport to your accommodation plus real time assistance through phone or Whatsapp
    11. settle service including townhall registration, education institution registration, mobile phone contract, internet contract, and living environment orientation
    12. one month consultation service after arrival through phone, Whatsapp, or email
    13. regular contact during your first semester in Germany
During PHASE 2, it is always possible to upgrade from Plan A to Plan B or from Plan B to Plan C if you feel that you need more comprehensive assistance. Moreover, additional services can be arranged by TES on an individual basis if needed.
Please note that PHASE 2 can begin any time, but we strongly recommend that you start roughly three months before the end of PHASE 1, so that everything will be ready for your resettlement in Germany when you complete your German courses at DSLC.
